Westbourne has an award-winning history of academic excellence which since 2015 has seen the school named: 1st in the UK League Tables for results, #1 IB Sixth Form, #3 UK School and IB School of the Year, as well as being awarded ‘excellent’ in every inspection category by the national regulator.

The first cohort of Westbourne College Sydney IB Diploma students topped the league tables in 2022, followed up by the highest proportion of 45 IB points in Sydney in 2023.

Westbourne’s academic results are outstanding with a long term 90% top university course entry at Russell Group or elite international equivalent universities.

2023 results saw over half of all students achieve 36+ IB Points. with 93% of Higher Level Grade at 7/5 (A*/B equivalent). 92% of students achieved 9- 5 (A*-B) at IGCSE/GCSE, with 85% achieving 9- 7 (A*/A).
